YYC Food & Drink Experience is back and better than ever. We’re serving up 17 DAYS of unforgettable dining experiences throughout the city from March 14 to 30, 2025. Join the celebration and be a part of the excitement.
Benefits of participation:
• Increased reservations and revenue to your restaurant during a slow time of year
• Additional online and social media exposure for your restaurant
• Entice new clientele with prix fixe menus and expand your customer base
Your restaurant can participate with the following prix fixe menu options:
Brunch and/or Lunch $25/$35 per person (minimum 3 courses)
Dinner $35/$45 per person (minimum 3 courses)
Gourmet Dinner $65/$75 per person (minimum 5 courses or tasting-style menu)
Happy Hour Any price. Just share your Happy Hour offer with us and we’ll promote it.
NOTE: if you have a menu offer that doesn’t fit any of these categories, please reach out to us. We are keen to have you participate and will consider a customized offer.
Participation fees:
Early bird registration until Jan 22, 2025: $300 + $100 restaurant gift card
Late registration Jan 22 - 29, 2025: $350 + $100 restaurant gift card
Registration fees waived for Calgary Downtown Association members, including $100 gift card contribution

Participation fees include: restaurant profile on YYC EXP website—includes name, logo, image, description, contact info, direct link to restaurant website and/or reservation link, and prix fixe menu(s) listing; festival advertising and promotion including print, digital, and social media; a marketing toolkit that includes YYC EXP assets, menu templates and tips for making the most out of your restaurant’s participation. Your $100 gift card will be used for YYC EXP contests, social media promotions and influencer giveaways.
Did you participate in YYC EXP 2024? If so, check your 2024 listing here and let us know on your registration form if we can reuse the same logo, image, and brief restaurant description used previously. If you need to send new materials, please upload them here.

Your restaurant can also submit a proposal to host its own special culinary event (see Culinary Events below).
Did You Know?
Calgary Downtown Association restaurants are eligible for complimentary registration and a $100 gift card, sponsored by the CDA. Only restaurants who are within the Downtown BIA zone are eligible, please refer to the zone map to see if your restaurant qualifies. If so, please email us at info@culinaryca.com for a discount code to waive your fees.

CULINARY EVENTS
YYC EXP 2025 will feature an exciting lineup of signature culinary events, some of which will be produced by Culinary Marketing Strategies (CMS) and others produced by a selection of YYC restaurants. We are currently seeking proposals from Calgary restaurants to host their own event experiences during YYC EXP 2025. Restaurants are responsible for selling their own tickets and assume all the financial risk associated with organizing and producing their own event. We will market and promote your culinary event as part of the YYC EXP 2024 festival Programming.
SUBMIT YOUR SELF-PRODUCED EVENT PROPOSAL FOR CONSIDERATION by JANUARY 21, 2024.
Fill out your event concept / theme, proposed dates, total event cost, ticket price and any other details here by Jan 21, 2024. If your event is selected you will be contacted to implement planning, prepare your own ticket sales link, and finalize details for inclusion on the YYC EXP website.
